$70 – $350
A premium Auckland red wine from 2014. This Bordeaux-style red is made with a 70/30% blend of Merlot and Cabernet-Franc grapes grown at the Awhitu Peninsula.
Smooth, lush and juicy with notes of red fruit, cinnamon and medium oak. This vintage has kept a good kick of acidity, while the ageing process has resulted in a full and round mouth experience. This is a lovely wine with character so make sure to bring more than one to a dinner party as it will be loved by many. It’s perfect to drink now or cellar until 2025. Choose between a case of 2, 6 or 12 bottles.
This Auckland red wine got 4 (out of 5) stars and a Silver Ribbon from Bob Campbell / The Real Review. 2014 Auckland reds score an average of 5-6 out of 7 on Michael Cooper’s vintage chart. Click here for more reviews or let us know what you think via email, Vivino, Facebook or Google.
